 GLEN DALE BROWER, 87, of Heritage Pointe, Warren, Ind., formerly of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 at 6:45 p.m. at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.Born on Sunday, Dec. 2, 1928 in Whitley County, Ind., he was a son of the late Roy Brower and Cora (Chesterman) Brower. He married Marilyn Tanner on July 24, 1954 in Fort Wayne; she passed away on Sept. 17, 2013. Glen was a firefighter for the City of Fort Wayne for 30 years and a member of the Fort Wayne Professional Firefighters Union. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, grilling and gardening. Survivors include son, Gerry (Margaret) Brower of Bellville, Texas; daughter, Teresa (Sanford) Stanton of Pensacola, Fla.; sister, Phyllis Gidleyof Carmel, Ind.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Brower of Fort Wayne.
