 MARC D. WASHINGTON SR., 64, passed Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Born July 10, 1950, in Richmond, Ind., he was a son of Ford and Gladys Washington. By age 5, his parents, Donald and Gladys Wilson relocated the family to Fort Wayne. Marc was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retiree of the City of Fort Wayne having served on the city fire and street departments. He was also a lifelong handyman. Surviving are his children, Marc Jr. and Tanisha; son-in-law, Juan (Adrianne) Gorman; parents, Donald and Gladys Wilson and Barbara Washington; twin, Marsha (Ephraim) Smiley; and other siblings, Donald Jr., Paul (Mary Ann) Wilson Sr., Kim Basnight, Rodney (Cindy), Cheryl, Jeff (Sharon) Riley, and Teresa Washington; longtime companion, Ms. Jerry Dean McKinny; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ford; and daughter, Tahirih Washington-Gorman.
