THOMAS W. REICH, 78, of Deltona, Fla., passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013, after a long illness. Tom spent his life in service to the public. Tom retired after 25 years with the Fort Wayne Fire Dept., serving at one point as a District Chief. Tom chose a new career in public service as a law enforcement officer upon retiring and relocating to Florida. Tom retired with the rank of Sergeant following 15 years as a Sheriff's Deputy with the Volusia County Sheriff's Dept. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Gail; daughter, Maureen Cuney of Delray Beach; and son, Michael Reich of Fort Wayne. Memorial arrangements are pending. Burial will be announced and held at a later date in Lindenwood Cemetary, Fort Wayne.
