R. RICHARD TAYLOR JR. "DICK", 72, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, June 7, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was retired from the Fort Wayne Fire Department, and had worked at Zollners. He was a member of The Fort Wayne Firefighters Local 124, the Firefighters 20 Year Club, the Fort Wayne Firefighters Museum, the St. Joe A.C., the Allen County Bass Masters, the senior bass circuit, and one of the founders of the firefighter scuba team. Surviving are his wife, Virginia Taylor of Fort Wayne; son, Richard (Susan) Taylor of Fort Wayne; son, Mark (Andrea) Taylor of Colorado; daughter, Teri Taylor of Florida; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Joan and Norma. Service is 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 11, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the funeral home.
